Music Diplomas

Our suite of music diplomas offers a comprehensive range of professional qualifications in performance, teaching and theory. The diplomas are designed to appeal to those aspiring to various branches of the profession, and those already involved in it, who may be seeking recognition for new or existing skills.

Performance Diplomas are available at three levels for both Classical and Rock & Pop:

• ATCL: comparable in standard to the first year recital of an undergraduate degree
• LTCL: comparable in standard to the final year recital of an undergraduate degree
• FTCL: comparable in standard to a postgraduate course recital at a conservatoire or university

Whereas Teaching Diplomas and Theory Diplomas are available at two levels:

• ATCL / AMusTCL: comparable in standard to the first year content of an undergraduate degree
• LTCL / LMusTCL: comparable in standard to the final year content of an undergraduate degree
