Trinity's English exams are formally calibrated to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR).
Trinity certifications are recognised by universities and colleges around the world as valid qualifications for university students and are approved as the level requirement for compulsory university entrance exams and/or for higher studies.

We are pleased to announce that our Integrated Skills in English (ISE) and Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE) are recognised by the Ministerio de Educación de Colombia as certified examinations to measure the proficiency of English language.
Both examinations are listed in the Resolution published here, and individual scores in relation to their CEFR level can be seen in the table 'International Language Proficiency Certification Exams According to the Levels of the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching and Evaluation.
