A career in teaching English as a foreign or second language is highly rewarding and enjoyable. English language teachers around the world play an important role in helping people achieve their goals and improve their lives.
In August 2022, Trinity College London introduced Teach with Trinity, which is a series of free, online short courses designed to support those who are new to teaching English, those considering a career as an English language teacher, and to encourage further career development for those already in the profession.
The short courses currently available are:
Each of the Teach with Trinity courses includes approximately 3 hours of online structured material and activities presented in short interactive units, accompanied by videos and downloadable resources. Guidance on additional resources and further information on formal teaching qualifications are provided in both courses. Users can self-enrol, and e-certificates are available to download upon completion.
