The Future of English Language Teaching Conference (FOELT) 2022

Presented by Trinity College London and Regent's University London, the 1-day, online Future of English Language Teaching Conference (FOELT) offers a first-rate professional development opportunity with a contemporary twist.

FOELT is free to attend and is open to English language professionals around the world at all stages in their careers.

The 7th instalment of this annual online event will take place on Saturday, 11 June 2022 and will include plenary speakers Sarah Mercer and Jason Anderson.

Share your knowledge and experience at the 2022 event

Trinity College London, in collaboration with Regent's University, are now inviting proposals for the 7th annual Future of English Language Teaching Conference (FOELT) from researchers, teachers, students and professional assessment agencies.

Following the success of previous events, abstracts are invited that address areas pertinent to the future of English Language Teaching in the following categories:

  • English for Specific Purposes
  • Young Learners
  • Technology and Innovation
  • Teacher Education

All sessions are 45-minute workshops or presentations.

Deadline for submissions: 31 March 2022
Notification of acceptance: before 30 April 2022
