15 Oct 2024

Celebrating outstanding achievement and contribution

Since 1878, the Trinity College London Honorary Awards have been recognising outstanding standards of scholarship or achievement in the performing and creative arts, language and/or communication - aligning with Trinity values and ethos.

We are delighted to share that Trinity recently held its 2024 Honorary Awards Ceremony to honour those who have contributed to these fields in unique or significant ways. The ceremony was fittingly held at the home of the Royal Society of Arts, and awards were made by Mike Saunders, Vice-Chair of Trinity College London’s Council of Trustees and our CEO Erez Tocker.

This year Trinity is celebrating the outstanding and sustained contributions of Dr Adam Ockelford, Arling Ng and Professor Annalisa Spadolini – all awarded Honorary Fellowship (Hon. FTCL).

Congratulations also to our new Honorands; Carlos Bautista, Francesca Christmas, Dr. Jayanti Banerjee and Jyotishka Dasgupta – awarded Honorary Membership (Hon. TCL).

Trinity College London has been proud to recognise the immense contribution of hundreds of Honorands since 1878, and we congratulate and celebrate our new Members and Fellows joining this illustrious community.

Our distinguished Honorands embody the spirit of innovation, inclusivity, and excellence that drives Trinity’s mission.  Their achievements not only reflect immense personal dedication but also inspire us in our ongoing commitment to transforming lives through the power of communication and performance

“One of the things that has stood out today and actually stands out whenever I interact with Trinity, is the evident purpose that everybody you've heard before has – in their relationship with Trinity, and the impact that they're managing to make on the world.”
Mike Saunders, Vice Chair, Council, Trinity College London
