Our heritage as an English language, music and drama exam board allows us to combine our understanding of performance and communication with that of language assessment, to offer a range of qualifications in English with unique benefits.
The Trinity approach to language learning and assessment aims to have a positive impact on teaching practice and teacher development. Our assessments are enjoyable to prepare for, rewarding to teach and they develop the skills needed for real life.
As learners progress, their motivation for learning English changes. Trinity offers flexible pathways made up of clear, achievable steps to support each individual's English language learning journey from beginner to advanced.
An exam for every student at any stage of their learning journey
Trinity's highly qualified examiners are expert speakers of English who are trained to put test takers at ease in oral exams — encouraging candidates to talk about their personal interests and supporting them to perform at their best.
We provide guidance and training for institutions and offer a wide range of free exam preparation resources and teaching materials, including teacher guidance, exam information, classroom activities, sample papers and videos via our website. In addition to the free teaching resources on our website, you can purchase Trinity-approved materials from Publishers.
