This webinar will begin with a conversation on creativity: its role in our daily lives, how it is encouraged (or discouraged) in education and why it is important.
The core of the session will be demo lesson exploring famous works of art. Together, participants will analyse their colours, materials, and composition, and discuss what the artists tried to communicate.
Finally, participants will be invited to create a final piece that reflects the insights gained. Through this process, we will experience how we can use active learning, scaffolding, and critical reflection to foster creativity in our classes.
