A digital certificate is an electronic document that shows proof of a qualification. Trinity College London gives all candidates who have passed their Secure English Language Test (SELT) a digital certificate. The digital certificate looks the same and holds the same importance as a paper certificate.

Once results are verified, candidates will receive an email with a link to download and access their digital certificate. Trinity SELT has engaged with Accredible, a trusted company, to offer this safe and fast service.
The Unique Electronic Reference Number (UER) is what you'll need to show that you've successfully passed your SELT exam for your visa application to the UKVI. You won't have to provide a printed certificate.
Your Unique Electronic Reference Number (UER) will be displayed on your Trinity certificate, whether it's in digital or printed format.
Here's an example of how your UER will be displayed: TCL/123456/123456/123456789.
If you pass your test, Trinity will send you an email through the Accredible system. The email will come from Digital.Certificates@trinitycollege.com.

The email will show a picture of your digital certificate. Click on "View my certificate" to view it on the Accredible system
You can now see your certificate. If you want, you can add a password to your Accredible account. This helps you share and download your certificate whenever you want. Just click on "Set a password" if you want to use an account.
For some sharing features, make sure your certificate privacy is set to "Public." Accredible will guide you on what happens when you change privacy settings.
Note: If you've used the link before or already have an Accredible account, you won't see the password prompt. Just follow step 6 to log in or set a password
Set your password under Personal information.
Remember to sign in whenever you want to share or download your certificate. Just click on "Sign in" at the top right corner.
If you have not set up a password as mentioned in step 3 or forgot it, click "Forgot password" on the sign-in page.
Enter the same email address as the one used for your digital certificate.
and click “Request Link”
You will get a NEW email to change your password. Click on "reset password" and type the password you want to use.
Click on "Go to sign in". Enter your email address and the new password you made.
Click on "sign in"
Scroll down to find a list of options. From here you can: share, download, or email your digital certificate.
If you want a paper certificate, this costs £12.50 and you can buy one:
- when you book your test and look for "optional products" at checkout and select 'Paper Certificate', or
- click on the "Purchase paper certificate" button, which can be found in the email sent with a link to your digital certificate
When you pass a Secure English Language Test (SELT) with Trinity, you will get a digital certificate that is included in your test fee. This certificate will have your Unique Electronic Reference Number (UER), which is what you need when applying for a UK visa.
