We sat down with Director of NILE, Thom Kiddle, to discuss how the CertPT has impacted their organisation, and its students.

Thom explained how NILE had identified a need for a TESOL certification which allowed participants to engage with professional learning in their own teaching contexts and apply the principles of the NILE courses to the practice of teaching and learning with their own students.

The key advantage of the CertPT is that the teacher development principles which underlie the tasks, and their assessment can be effectively related to a wide range of teaching contexts, and therefore several specialist NILE courses.
