Evan overcame his, at the time, undiagnosed ADHD condition to pass his grade 5 Drum Rock and Pop exam. The untreated condition made sustained focus difficult for Evan. However, he was determined to achieve the required standard and along with support from his drum teacher, Jason Ray, he did so.
He has since been diagnosed with the condition and is preparing for his grade 6 exam in the Spring.
