UK&I Music ‘To you it’s progress’ PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Who are we?

Trinity College London is a company (company registration no 2683033) and a registered charity in England and Wales (charity no. 1014792) and Scotland (charity no. SC049143) whose registered office is at the Blue Fin Building, 110 Southwark Street, London SE1 0TA, United Kingdom (‘Trinity’, ‘we’, ‘our’, ‘us’). Trinity is holding and running a prize draw.

  1. What is the prize draw about?

This prize draw is open to music teachers and those providing music education, aged 18 years old or above in the UK and Republic of Ireland (subject to condition 4). By entering the prize draw, you have a chance to become the winner and win a selection of printed music books published by Trinity College London Press Limited of your choice (further details in condition 5(b)). By entering into this prize draw you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully and keep a copy for your records.

  1. How do I enter the prize draw?
    a) The prize draw will run from 10am BST on 18 February 2025 (the “Opening Date”) to 5.30pm BST on 30 March 2025 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive. Prize draw entries received after 5.30pm BST on the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

    b) To enter the prize draw, eligible entrants (see condition 4a) should (i) visit the To you it's progress landing page, (ii) fill out the prize draw entry form on the page, and (iii) select the box confirming that they wish to participate in the prize draw and press ‘Submit’.

    c) Trinity will not accept:

    i. responsibility for prize draw entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any technical malfunction, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or

    ii. proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the prize draw.

    d) These Terms and Conditions are available on the Trinity website at To you it's progress prize draw terms and conditions, from the Opening Date to at least one month after the date that the results of the prize draw are announced.
  1. Eligibility
    a) The prize draw is open to all UK and Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 years or above, who provide music education to students on a one-to-one or group basis in a recognised institution or registered business setting except:

    i. employees of Trinity or its subsidiary companies;

    ii. employees of agents or suppliers of Trinity or its subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration; or

    iii. members of the immediate families or households of (i) and (ii) above.

    b) In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. Trinity may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.

    c) Trinity will not accept prize draw entries that are:

    i. automatically generated e.g. by computer or by artificial intelligence;
    ii. completed by third parties or in bulk; or
    iii. incomplete.

    d) There is a limit of one entry to the prize draw per . Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted.

    e) Trinity reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.
  1. Prize and winners
    a) One winner will be chosen at random from of the eligible entries to the prize draw received by Trinity, in accordance with conditions 3(b) and 3(c) above, on 31 March 2025 by a random number generator using random.org. The results of the prize draw will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

    b) The prize for the winner is a selection of physical music books published by Trinity College London Press up to the value of £300 (excl. VAT) of their choosing, from those available on the Faber distribution channel. Ebooks are not available. There is no cash alternative for the prize.

    c) The prize is not negotiable or transferable.

    d) Trinity will contact the winner personally by 4 April 2025 using the email address provided with the prize draw entry.

    e) Trinity must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Trinity will publish the first name and the first initial of the surname of the winner on Trinity UK & Ireland’s ‘X’ channel and ‘Facebook’ and 'Instagram' page on 7 April 2025.

    f) If you object to any or all of your name being published on Trinity’s 'X' or 'Facebook' or 'Instagram' channels, please contact Trinity at ukmusic@trinitycollege.co.uk. In such circumstances, Trinity must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

    g) If you are the winner, then to claim the prize you must confirm the preferred shipping address for the prize to Trinity by email by 18 April 2025.

    h) If you do not claim the prize by this date your claim will become invalid and you will forfeit the prize, and Trinity will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described in this condition

    i) Trinity will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If you are the winner and cannot be contacted or are not available, Trinity reserves the right not to award your prize.

    j) Trinity does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to claim the prize.
  1. Data protection and publicity

By entering this prize draw you will be providing your personal information to Trinity, including your first name, surname, email address and country/region. Trinity will process your personal information as set out in Trinity’s online privacy statement which is available at www.trinitycollege.com/page/data-protection. In addition, Trinity will process your personal information to fulfil Trinity’s obligations under these Terms and Conditions and to comply with the legal obligations to which we are subject in relation to conducting the prize draw, contacting you if you are a winner and as set out in conditions 5(e) and 5(f) above.   1. General 
    a) If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, Trinity may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.

    b) Trinity reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

    c) These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
