The Future of English Language Teaching (FoELT) is Trinity College London’s free annual CPD event bringing together ELT professionals from around the world. It’s a space to explore cutting-edge ideas, share teaching innovations, and connect with like-minded professionals shaping the future of language education.
This year, we welcome Katy Kelly, who brings international experience across early years, primary and secondary education, sharing practical perspectives on learner engagement, classroom creativity and authentic young learner communication. Also joining us is John Gray, Professor of Applied Linguistics and Education at UCL, who will bring research-led perspectives on pedagogic humility, language teacher identity and the wider challenges currently shaping English Language Teacher Education.
